PAUL GRUBER

Born and raised in Melbourne, Paul first experienced adventure sports while at University through the iconic Winter Classic race held at Mount Hotham and around Omeo. After ticking the Ironman box in 2004, the next calling was XPD Whitsundays… A real learning curve and eye opener that had him hooked. Having completed multiple expedition adventure races, along the way Dynamite Adventure Racing was formed, recruiting a team of friends predominantly who also live in or near his home town of Warrandyte.
He works as an environmental consultant and heads a foundation set up to raise funds for charities who are needing a helping hand with their fundraising efforts via an annual walk/run event.
During racing he loves the feeling of standing on top of a mountain that has taken the team all day to get to as well as sporting the scars of hours bashing through spine laden vegetation.
